  • Tailored Experience: Every space is different, and the more we know, the better we can customize your service.

3. Payment Terms

At Canada Star, we believe in fairness and clarity when it comes to payments.

  1. Payment Upon Completion
    • Payment is due immediately after service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    • You’ll receive a detailed invoice for transparency.
  2. Flexible Payment Options
    • We accept credit cards, e-transfers, and cheque.
    • All transactions are secure and confidential.
  3. Deposits
    • A 30% deposit is required for large projects, custom packages, or recurring contracts.
    • Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of your service.
  4. Monthly Billing for Recurring Services
    • Recurring clients are billed monthly, with payment due within 2–3 business days of invoice.
  5. Late Payments
    • A 5% late fee applies for every 7 days past the due date.
    • Payments overdue by 30+ days may lead to service suspension or legal action.

4. Additional Services

Additional Services may be requested and will be subject to approval and additional charges

5. Satisfaction Guarantee & Refund Policy

  • Not Satisfied? Let us know within 24 hours of your service.
  • We’ll review your concern and offer:
    • A complimentary re-clean of the problem area
    • An alternative solution that suits your situation

Refunds are generally not issued unless no resolution is possible. All refund requests are reviewed case-by-case.

Limitations: This policy applies only to services we directly provide and does not cover pre-existing issues or conditions outside our control.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours in advance with no penalty.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of service will incur a 30% cancellation fee.

7. Disputed Charges

  • Any billing concerns must be reported within 7 days of receiving your invoice.
  • We promise to resolve disputes through clear and respectful communication.

8. Client Responsibilities

For us to deliver exceptional service, we need a little help from you:

  1. Access to Property
    • Please ensure we have clear, uninterrupted access at the scheduled time.
    • Missed appointments due to access issues may result in a 30% lock-out fee.
    • Remove valuable or fragile personal items from areas to be cleaned.
    • Inform us of delicate surfaces or special care items in advance.
  2. Hazardous Conditions
    • If your property has unsafe conditions (e.g., mold, biohazards), please let us know in advance.
    • We may postpone or decline service if the environment is deemed unsafe.

9. Liability and Damages

We take the utmost care in your space. That said:

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or improperly installed fixtures.
  • If damage occurs during service, report it in writing with photos within 24 hours.

10. Weather or Emergency Policy

  • If severe weather or emergencies (like power outages or road closures) affect your booking, we’ll reschedule with no penalty.
  • Your safety and ours always come first.

11. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • The environment is unsafe
  • Clients behave in a threatening, abusive, or inappropriate way
  • False or incomplete booking details were provided

12. Insurance and Liability

Canada Star Cleaning Services is fully insured and licensed. In the rare case of damage or injury caused directly by our team:

  • We will take appropriate action to resolve the issue
  • Liability is limited to the value of the service provided and does not include indirect or consequential losses.

13. Updates to Terms and Conditions

These Terms may be updated at any time. You’ll be notified of significant changes via email, SMS, or through our website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any revisions.

14. Digital Communication Consent

By booking with us, you agree to receive service-related communications by email, SMS, or phone. This includes appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups.

You may opt out of marketing communications anytime—but operational updates will continue as long as you’re a client.

15. Service Area

Our standard service area covers Calgary and surrounding regions. Services requested outside this area may incur a travel fee or be subject to availability.
